Digital health and social care strategy Northern Ireland

Earlier this week, the Department of Health Northern Ireland published its Digital Health and Social Care Strategy for 2022-2030. During the Learning Expedition to Northern Ireland in May 2022, the CSG delegation had the honour of meeting Dan West, Chief Digital Information Officer at the Department of Health Northern Ireland, who during his presentation already briefly introduced the new Digital Health and Social Care Strategy. 

This strategy highlights how Northern Ireland will implement digital transformation to improve its health and care services to a more personalized system that includes full visibility of health data, precision medicine, and a single electronic care record.
